Job Description

This is a Critical Care Float Pool position. Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients. Assesses patients, develops and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions. Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

• New York State RN License
• BSN Degree preferred
• Basic Life Support Training
• Infection Control Training
• Two years of ICU RN experience
• Effective English communication skills
• Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
