Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. As part of a close-knit, 3-person team, you'll work directly with the Controller and gain exposure to both general and transactional accounting tasks. This role offers a great opportunity to collaborate with a supportive leadership team and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
Perform account analysis, bank reconciliations, and prepare journal entries (JEs)
Support balance sheet analysis and preparation for the year-end audit
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Work closely with the team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of corporate accounting experience
Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger (GL) processes
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail
A positive, collaborative attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
