Job Description

Job Summary: Dalkia Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Streetlight Technician to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar-powered streetlights in various locations throughout the city. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive pay based on experience.   • Install and commission solar-powered streetlights in accordance with the company's safety and quality standards
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform minor repairs on existing streetlights
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with solar panels, batteries, wiring, and other components of the streetlights
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and inventory levels
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on job progress and any potential issues
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with solar panel systems
  • Knowledge of electrical and wiring principles
  • Experience with hand and power tools required for installation and maintenance work
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (CDL Preferred)
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
