Job Description

Job Summary: Dalkia Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Streetlight Technician to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar-powered streetlights in various locations throughout the city. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive pay based on experience. Install and commission solar-powered streetlights in accordance with the company's safety and quality standards
Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform minor repairs on existing streetlights
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with solar panels, batteries, wiring, and other components of the streetlights
Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and inventory levels
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on job progress and any potential issues
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with solar panel systems
Knowledge of electrical and wiring principles
Experience with hand and power tools required for installation and maintenance work
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (CDL Preferred)
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
Must be authorized to work in the United States
