About this role:
Software Development position responsible for design, implementation, and support of Java/JEE based web applications to help fulfill our Research & Consulting Delivery strategy.
What you’ll do:
Design, implement, test and support JEE based applications and services
Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements
Work on Devops and Cloud technologies
Collaborate on architecture and technical design discussions
Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications
Learn new technologies & frameworks and utilize them to develop technical solutions
Collaborate with team and business partners to ensure high quality deliverables.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in the field of software development. 2+ years’ experience in web-based application/software development.
Must have
Experience in Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript
Knowledge of relational databases like Postgres/Oracle/MS SQL
Experience working with consumption/creation of Restful APIs
Good knowledge of software development and object-oriented design fundamentals
Good problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good to have
Knowledge of Cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Strong understanding of DevOps tools and practices
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with React
Experience with Python
Knowledge of enterprise search platforms such as Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
Experience with test driven development using frameworks like JUnit
Scrum software development methodology experience

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 74,000 USD - 113,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
