Required Technical Skills:
Primary Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake data warehousing solutions, including data loading, transformation, and optimization.
- Extensive experience in SQL and SnowSQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake and integration with tools like Informatica, Talend, or Matillion.
- Experience with Snowflake cloud architecture and understanding of secure data sharing, data encryption, and data masking.
- Proficiency in developing complex stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions in Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning and query optimization in Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices for Snowflake environments.
Secondary Skills:
- Familiarity with Python or Java for data processing and automation within Snowflake environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in relation to Snowflake deployments.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards related to data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools such as Git.
