Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
Examine specifications of order using blueprints drawings and/or work orders to determine characteristics of finished item materials to be used and machine setup requirements.
Fabricate work piece as determined by work order specifications.
Examine work piece visually by touch or using tape rule calipers or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.
Qualifications
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (Community college study a plus)
A minimum of one year of sheet metal fabrication experience or six months of experience with related trade school certification.
Knowledge of machines such as press brake punch press fiber laser and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance.
