Job Description

Salary: $72,150 - 130,425 per year Requirements:

  • I have experience with SharePoint technologies including SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, and SharePoint Online.
  • I am skilled in configuring, installing, and securing SharePoint systems.
  • I possess experience in managing SQL clusters that support SharePoint farms.
  • I am familiar with patch maintenance for SQL clusters.
  • I have an understanding of PKI authentication and claims-based authentication.
  • I have utilized load balancers such as F5 BigIP Load Traffic Manager or Citrix NetScaler.
  • I have experience managing M365/O365 cloud offerings such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
  • I am knowledgeable about patch maintenance for SharePoint farms and have experience with routine maintenance processes, conducting scheduled maintenance during approved windows.
  • I have a grasp of Change Management fundamentals to ensure proper planning, execution, and documentation of environmental changes.
  • I possess experience in Tier 2 system administration and troubleshooting issues in a growing environment.
  • I am capable of conducting reviews, incident analysis, and identifying issue trends.
  • I have strong time management skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • I have a proven track record of effective teamwork and supporting peers for improved processes and outcomes.
  • I have experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
  • I meet at least the DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP along with an appropriate computing environment certification).
Responsibilities:
  • I will interact with customers to manage service inquiries and resolve issues.
  • I provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • I distinguish isolated user problems from enterprise-wide application/system issues rapidly.
  • I will identify methods for direct integration with Identity Management (IdAM) technologies.
  • I assist users with manual migrations from older SharePoint versions to SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint Online.
  • I manage permissions for both new and existing site collections along with their associated lists and items.
  • I handle access management to O365/M365 applications based on SharePoint technologies like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
  • I conduct searches and data purges from operational systems as directed by cybersecurity.
  • I help manage the asset library, risk database, and business rhythm calendar to enhance situational awareness for stakeholders.
  • I coordinate with customers and stakeholders to gather data, conduct analysis, and develop and implement solutions related to incident tickets and requirements.
  • I provide follow-up reports on technical findings, feedback, and resolution steps taken for Root Cause Analysis and process improvements.
  • I support customer requirements in a 24/7/365 mission environment.
  • I update operations and maintenance documentation to aid 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel in after-hours triage and troubleshooting of common SharePoint issues.

This SharePoint Systems Administrator role supports the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC), working on infrastructure services, operations, and maintenance for various classified enclaves, with remote administration for centralized server farms.
