Job Description

SEO Specialist [Remote or On-Site]

Looking for a chance to shape the future of small business insurance? Join our fast-growing team as we revolutionize the industry, making insurance simple, affordable, and accessible online—without the need to call an agent. We're passionate about what we do and want you to be a part of it!

About the Role

As an SEO Specialist, you'll play a critical role in driving organic traffic growth by creating and executing effective SEO strategies. From keyword research and competitive analysis to link building and technical SEO, you'll use your expertise to improve organic rankings and increase qualified traffic. Success in this role means turning that traffic into measurable outcomes, like increased online purchases.

You'll collaborate closely with content, design, development, and product marketing teams to align SEO efforts with business objectives. We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of search engine algorithms, proven results in growing organic traffic, and a knack for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to drive growth in organic traffic and rankings.
Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits.
Partner with the content team to create and manage an SEO content calendar that aligns with marketing goals.
Optimize website structure, metadata, and content to enhance search engine rankings.
Manage link-building campaigns and collaborate with digital media specialists to secure high-quality backlinks.
Work closely with content and design teams to implement SEO best practices.
Monitor and analyze organic performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and industry-leading platforms (e.g., Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Coordinate with resource providers, such as writers and designers, to bring your SEO strategies to life.

What You Bring

Experience: 2+ years managing and executing SEO strategies with proven results in national campaigns.
Technical Know-How: Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
Project Management Skills: A strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Content Expertise: Experience developing and managing content strategies to support SEO goals.
Hands-On SEO Skills: Familiarity with technical audits, link building, and WordPress optimization.
Industry Curiosity: A willingness to understand the nuances of the insurance industry and its marketing.
Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
Mindset: You're humble, hungry, smart, and proactive—a true team player.

What We Offer

Time Off: Enjoy 160 hours of PTO annually plus two floating holidays.
Financial Perks: Quarterly bonuses, promotion opportunities, and a 401(k) with company match.
Health Benefits: Employer-subsidized health, dental, and vision plans, along with free mental health and therapy tools.
Growth & Culture: Be part of a fast-growing company filled with amazing colleagues.

A Day in the Life

Expect to dive into research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize content, and continuously analyze performance. You'll have the autonomy to build strategies and the support to execute them effectively.

Salary: $60,000-$80,000

We're committed to equal opportunities for all applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other legally protected status. Please let us know if you need accommodations during the interview process.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 60,000.00 80,000.00 Per Year
