Job Description

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects for the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This position oversees and directs complex corporate initiatives valued at over $5 million, engaging with 15-50+ stakeholder groups across various organizational work streams while utilizing Agile methodologies to deliver impactful results.

Essential Functions:

Project Management: Actively plan and manage large-scale Waterfall or Agile projects by overseeing scheduled program increments, milestones, scope, cost, resources, and risks. Collaborate with stakeholders in key meetings to ensure successful project delivery.

Financial Oversight: Take ownership of project finances, including timing implications and key payment dates. Proactively report on project status, create scorecards, and fulfill project analysis requests using critical and creative thinking.

Vendor Coordination: Lead and contribute to vendor selection and procurement activities under the guidance of the program manager. Identify and produce resource and go-live operational plans to ensure the success of each project.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare key documents, present business cases, and generate reports as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to navigate project funding discussions and initiation ceremonies effectively.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Lead a team using a matrix management system, fostering collaboration and a shared vision.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Alternatively, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree, in addition to the required experience.

Preferred Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
SAFe Scrum Master Certification
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in leading projects related to cross-functional, technical systems implementation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Strong financial management skills, including comprehension of project financials, profit and loss, and the ability to create, manage, and adhere to a broader project budget.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
Proven ability to lead successfully in a matrixed environment.
Capacity to meet established deadlines while managing multiple customer service demands from both internal and external customers.
Committed to providing exceptional customer service to every stakeholder, including those who may be challenging or demanding.
Salary Range: $96,192 - $191,048

This compensation range is specific to this role and considers factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's work experience, education and training, internal equity, and market considerations.

Please note that it is not common for individuals to start at the top of the range, as compensation decisions are made based on each candidate's unique qualifications and circumstances.
