We have immediate opportunities for a Senior Interior Designer. Position would contribute on a wide range of projects in the hospitality and commercial segments.

Applicants should have a minimum 6+ years of commercial design and project management experience. The Senior Designer position requires the ability to fulfill a proactive leadership role focusing on design, project delivery and meeting client and firm-wide expectations. Candidates should possess a strong attention to detail, organization, accountability and be able to work and lead teams in a collaborative design studio environment with multiple, simultaneous projects and clients.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· 6+ years work experience in an architecture or interior design studio

· Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent from an accredited college or university

· Luxury multi-family, hospitality, and/or corporate experience preferred

· Proficiency in Revit

· Proficiency in AutoCAD

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

· Proficiency in Excel

· Proficiency in Bluebeam preferred

· Proficiency in 3D Modeling Software preferred

· Understanding of all phases of the Design Process - Programming through Construction Documents and Construction Administration 

· Experience preparing technical interiors documents, FF&A packages, specifications, and project manuals

· Understanding of Purchasing and Procurement services preferred

· Ability to prepare detailed FF&A and OPCI budgets preferred

· Ability to prepare purchase orders, review proformas, oversee logistics and warehousing preferred

· Strong knowledge of budgets, time estimating, proposals and contracts

· Strong knowledge of programming and functional adjacencies

· Strong knowledge of building codes and production of contract documents

· Strong knowledge of building systems, shop drawings, and submittals

· Precise execution and thorough attention to detail

· Meticulous organizational and project management skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Contribute to the production of design documents and project drawing sets

· Contribute to the production, coordination, and accuracy of 3D BIM model and/or design documents

· Work with the project team to meet deadlines and deliverables

· Source materials & samples

· Plot and manage project documents

· Diligent daily filing of incoming and outgoing files and materials

· Organize and track project correspondence and communications

· Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings

· Align daily tasks to ensure a critical path to milestones and deliverables

· Create and maintain drawing standards and databases of drawing blocks and details

· Maintain knowledge of design trends, products, market standards, and finishes

· Prepare conceptual design presentations

· Define RFP and scope of work requirements for consultant professionals

· Conceptualize, produce, and critique construction drawings

· Prepare detailed construction drawing reviews, annotated comments, pickup and manage redlines

· Review shop drawings and approvals

· Maintain sample library

· Prepare punch lists
