Peregrine Team is hiring for a Senior Cleaning Technician in Newark, CA. This position is a full-time, contract to hire role with full benefits and competitive pay.  

$22/hour

Job Duties:

• Lead and supervise a team of cleaning technicians to ensure high-quality cleaning and maintenance.
• Oversee and perform advanced cleaning tasks, including chemical treatment and vacuuming of physical surfaces in construction or technical environments.
• Execute specialized floor care tasks such as polishing, finishing, stripping, and sealing.
• Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Steam clean and maintain rugs with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage the dusting of furniture, walls, machines, and hardware.
• Operate and oversee the movement of heavy supplies, equipment, or furniture manually or with hand trucks.
• Ensure all cleaning assignments are completed efficiently, professionally, and in line with client and customer expectations.
• Enforce and adhere to all safety regulations and job requirements.
• Handle additional responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Significant experience as a cleaner/janitor, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (Required)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Shift: 40 hours- 5x8
