Position Summary VGM Forbin is a dynamic and innovative digital marketing agency committed to helping businesses grow their online presence. We specialize in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and are seeking a motivated SEM Intern to join our marketing team.
This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of SEM, Google Analytics and creating GA4 conversions. It’s an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain experience in the growing world of digital advertising.
This position will be contributing to the success of our campaigns and our clients' satisfaction while fostering continual improvement within the team.
Reporting Accountability: Senior Director of Marketing
Working Location: Waterloo, IA or Des Moines, IA
Work Hours Classification (check all that apply): Internship / Part-Time Responsibilities/Duties Of The Job - Manage and optimize SEM campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Partner with SEM Specialist to create compelling ad copy, perform keyword research, manage campaign budgets, and analyze performance metrics
- Conduct competitor analysis, ad extension management, and Quality Score improvement
- Keep up-to-date and informed about industry trends and best practices to share insights with the team
- Assist the marketing team as needed, including running GA4 reports, and creating conversions.
Position Qualifications Education/Skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of SEM concepts and digital marketing
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated and eager to learn
Physical Requirements - Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers, phones, misc. office equipment
- Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
- Moving throughout the VGM facilities when needed
