One of our clients in oil & gas industry is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer, who will be responsible for designing and implementing customizations to the Salesforce system. This individual will be a key member of the internal application support team. The successful candidate will perform work that is highly complex, varied in nature, and span multiple functional areas.

 

Title: Salesforce Developer
Position Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Houston, TX – Onsite

No Relocation 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & maintain Salesforce solutions including reports, dashboards, workflows, custom objects, and other customizations
  • Maintains and troubleshoots interfaces between Salesforce and other software applications.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing
  • Debug and resolve issues or defects in Salesforce solutions
  • Perform weekly data backups, maintain backup of site configuration using sandbox refresh, build, test, and migrate configurations from sandbox to production
  • Maintains and creates project documentation including but not limited to system documentation, business process documentation, and training materials.
  • Support other Force.com based applications

 

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working as a cloud application developer.
  • Experience building business process automations or workflows.
  • Experience with reporting & dashboard technology.
  • Skilled problem solver with the drive to follow issues through to completion.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skills, with a close attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a highly visible, fast-paced environment independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
