Job Description


As a Global Account Manager, you will be a key member of a sales team responsible for sales, service, growth, and relationship management within an assigned global sales region, supporting both domestic and international customers.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Work as the customers advocate and manage all aspects of customer communications within the assigned territory.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with disparate groups within the company (lab scientists, marketing, order fulfillment, shipping, outside sales, direct teams) to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Main contact for all aspects of customer order fulfillment, which include but are not limited to sales, technical support, entering and following up sales quotes, customer service, CRM data entry, as well as pre and post-sales marketing activities.
  • Input, approve, and update customer data in ERP (sage) and CRM (salesforce) systems.
  • Territory includes international distributors and global teams, as well as domestic (US) customers.
  • Responsible for lead management, lead follow-up, and opportunity closing throughout the territory.
  • Participate in business process improvement groups and assist in driving change throughout the organization.
  • Some travel will be required (including overnight) to attend trade shows and conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree in life science and/or business-related field
  • 1-2 years of previous account management, marketing, sales or customer service experience
  • Order management/ERP software familiarity (Sage, SAP, etc.)
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment
  • Critical problem solving and analytical skills
  • Computer proficiency and strong familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Positive attitude with an ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
Pay ranges between $20-24/hr and is based on expereince
