What You’ll Do

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team, helping to drive growth and adoption of Hydrosat’s thermal satellite data and analytics for mission critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with satellite data and solutions across the government and commercial sectors. In this role, you will work with the sales team as the key technical advisor for Hydrosat products and solutions. This role will appeal to candidates looking to use their skills to impact the world in agriculture, defense, intelligence, climate, and public safety applications.

This position is remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with users and stakeholders to form a deep understanding of mission objectives and requirements
  • Work with technical and engineering teams to translate mission needs into technical solutions
  • Coordinate with sales teams to create compelling pitches, demos, and marketing material
  • Offer ongoing technical support and provide training to current and potential customers, ensuring successful implementation of solutions
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, highlighting the technical benefits of Hydrosat’s solutions
  • Support sales efforts at conferences, trade shows, and events, providing technical demonstrations to customers and prospects

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of geospatial products and solutions
  • Ability to articulate geospatial solutions to both business and technical users
  • Experience in engineering and technical sales
  • Experience working with Defense, Intelligence, and Civil Government customers
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with thermal satellite data
  • Previous experience in sales, technical support, or consulting within the geospatial industry
  • Startup experience
  • Security Clearance
