Job Summary / Objective

Essential Functions
Business Development : Prospect, generate leads, and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Sales Strategy : Develop and implement sales plans, including market analysis, competitor research, and pricing approaches.
Customer Solutions : Provide clients with customized service options to address their transportation, warehousing, and supply chain requirements.
Negotiation : Support contract negotiations and secure agreements that balance customer satisfaction with business objectives.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams such as operations, pricing, and service delivery to ensure smooth execution.
Market Awareness : Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies.
Reporting : Maintain CRM systems, prepare regular sales reports, and forecast future sales activity.
Compliance : Ensure that all sales activities meet organizational policies and relevant industry regulations.
Customer Engagement : Educate clients on available services and best practices to strengthen partnerships.
Problem Resolution : Address customer concerns quickly and effectively to encourage retention and referrals.
Networking : Participate in professional events and forums to expand industry knowledge and connections.
Continuous Development : Stay current on product knowledge, sales methods, and customer engagement practices.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in sales leadership within logistics, transportation, or related service industries.
