Job Title: Automotive Sales Consultant

*$2,500 Sign-on bonus

Job Summary: As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, helping them find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs, and ensuring a seamless buying experience. Your primary goal will be to exceed sales targets and provide exceptional service to our valued clients.

*Prior Car Sales experience is required for this position*

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:

    • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Actively listen to customers' needs and preferences to understand their automotive requirements.
    • Provide detailed product knowledge and information on available vehicles.
  2. Sales and Negotiation:

    • Conduct test drives and highlight vehicle features and benefits.
    • Present pricing options, financing, and incentives clearly and persuasively.
    • Negotiate sales agreements to meet or exceed sales quotas.
    • Handle objections and concerns effectively, turning them into opportunities.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Follow up with potential and existing customers to maintain relationships.
    • Ensure excellent post-sale follow-up to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Build a referral network through exceptional customer service.
  4. Product Knowledge:

    • Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive industry trends, features, and technologies.
    • Continuously educate yourself on our vehicle inventory.
  5. Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
    • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure smooth transactions.
    • Assist in maintaining an organized and attractive showroom.
  6. Sales Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall dealership goals.
    • Share best practices and strategies to drive sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in automotive sales or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and technologies.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus.
