Position Title: RN Nursing Supervisor – Travel Assignment
Location: Nantucket, MA 02554
Job Type: 13-Week Travel Contract
Shift: Days | 5×8s
Travel Pay Range: $70 – $75/hr ($2,800 – $3,000/week)
Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Surgical Services – Surgical Tech, OR General for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee daily home health and hospice clinical operations.
Ensure adherence to DPH, CMS, and JCAHO standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate care with physicians, discharge planners, and referral sources.
Act as liaison for patient transitions from hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.
Support recruitment, interviewing, and hiring alongside Human Resources.
Manage staff orientation, training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Lead care team meetings and participate in clinical leadership on-call rotation.
Ensure adequate staffing coverage, including weekends and holidays.
Utilize tools such as SHP and Delta to monitor quality metrics and drive improvements.
Provide direct clinical support as needed.
Collaborate with HR on performance management and staff development.
Participate in community outreach and agency representation.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum 5 years of recent clinical experience; at least 2 years in home health or community care.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards (DPH, CMS, JCAHO).
Experience in customer or community relations preferred.
