JOB SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for general lab duties in the Trulieve Research and Development. This position will report to the R&D manager.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all safety, environmental and health regulations and procedures prescribed by Trulieve R&D SOPs.
• Compile and analyze data from test results.
• Follow standardized formulas or experimental operating procedures.
• Maintain, operate, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Responsible for the upkeep and routine maintenance of laboratory.
• Coordinate with external lab testing.
• Work with R&D chemists and production staff.
• Attend weekly meetings, track performance KPIs, and provide weekly report to R&D manager.
• Follow direction of R&D chemists and R&D manager, leads, and product development managers.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to follow SOPs, instructions, technical competency.
• 1+ year laboratory experience.
• Ability to work with chemicals, stand for prolonged periods of time, and flexibility in schedule.
• Ability to think critically and independently.

• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Good laboratory practices.
• Willingness to learn and seek out new methodologies and knowledge sources.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
• Must be able to pass a Florida level 2 background screening.

PHYSCAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance. 

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
