Job Description

ANGARAI is looking for a Report Writer who can assess analyze and summarize from data provided via various forms. The consultant will perform the following tasks:

1. Develop a work plan an outline and framework for the interim reports and final report
2. In collaboration with the members of the committee examine data collected and develop an updated case study
3. In collaboration with the leadership team examine data collected and present recommendations
4. Develop availability of final report across a variety of platforms and media (e.g. print digital etc.)
   

Requirements

Education :

• Bachelor s degree in the Social Sciences history etc. or equivalent experience with technical writing
  

Required Experience:

• Ability and a minimum of 5years experience assessing analyzing and summarizing primary and secondary sources of data
  
• Demonstrated ability and experience assessing and analyzing large groups of data and writing technical reports clearly concisely and cogently
  
• Track record of publications in a variety of formats
  
• Knowledge of African American history in Maryland
  
• Track record of producing technical reports from varied large data sets with a social and racial justice focus
  
• Track record of social/racial justice analysis and writing
  
• Experience working with Coalitions and Commissions in both the governmental and nongovernmental spaces.
