Job Description: We are seeking an experienced analyst with a deep understanding of the renewable industry. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and decision-making processes. You will work closely with the finance, project management & M&A teams to analyze financial data, develop financial models, and provide strategic insights to drive profitability and growth. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and project profitability assessment. 
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions, business planning, and financial reporting. 
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks in the solar sector. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate project feasibility, prepare financial budgets, and ensure adherence to financial objectives. 
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making, investment evaluations, and risk assessments. 
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, financial regulations, and emerging trends in the solar and BESS sectors. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance. MBA or CFA designation is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable energy finance with BESS.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, including financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis. 
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. 
  • Solid understanding of the energy markets, including market dynamics, project economics, and regulatory landscape. 
  • Tax credit transfers and partnership structures experience. 
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable financial analysis. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. 
  • Local to Miami area and able to report to the office 3 days per week. 
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Fair and equitable compensation. A reasonable estimate of the current annual salary range is $140,000-$180,000 including annual bonus
