Job Description
The Registered Nurse II / Relief Staff Leader (RSL) reports to the Nurse Manager. Under general supervision, the RN II/RSL provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. This role delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes. As assigned, this position provides department/shift leadership in the RSL role.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and **Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse is required.
Required Licensure, Certifications, * Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) with the American Heart Association (AHA), and NIHSS stroke scale with the American Heart Association (AHA) if the unit required
