Position: Registered Nurse Coordinator - Pediatric Heart Failure and Transplant Program
Location: Ochsner Main Campus Jefferson Hwy in New Orleans, LA
Unit: Clinic/Outpatient Setting
Schedule: Monday - Friday

This job is knowledgeable and proficient in the pre-transplant, post-transplant, and/or inpatient transplant clinical practice. This job is able to assist in other sections as needed. Acts as a patient advocate and patient educator while promoting optimum patient independence, self-care, and rehabilitation. This job is an integral member of the transplant team, assisting the transplant physicians by independently monitoring certain patients, managing outpatient clinics and periodically reviewing all patients with the physicians. Provides care and service to individuals of all age groups.
