The Role

Korn Ferry is searching for a Recruiting Coordinator Team Lead. The RPO Coordination Team is critical to the success of the RPO in North America. It focuses the energy of a team of professionals on multiple time- and compliance-critical activities at moments in the hiring process when personal contact, customer care, speed and process compliance are all crucial to meet various stakeholder needs: team members, individual hiring managers and applicants, the TA and HR organizations, and the RPO.

At the direction of the Account Leader, this position builds and manages the coordination team to ensure that a high quality, customer centric, and cost-effective coordination service is delivered in support of the Client's hiring plan by building a team, developing goals and objectives, and measuring outputs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Tactical
  • Lead and direct a team of coordinators to manage interview scheduling, offer and background check processes.
  • Work with leadership team to manage daily work priorities, challenges, or issues as needed.
  • Maintain effective, positive customer service relationships by responding to customer needs, resolving conflicts, and educating stakeholders and the recruitment team on customer care.
  • Manage team members effectively to achieve the goals and objectives of the coordination team by monitoring progress, cross-training team members, and shifting them to meet needs when the situation demands.
  • Schedule and assign work, resolve processing problems, collect data to monitor progress, carry an assigned workload, or fill in as necessary.
  • Effectively and continually communicate with HMs, Recruiters, and candidates to facilitate the flow of information necessary to the success of the hiring process and the team.
Strategic
  • Define 'core team' size based on historical volumes, productivity patterns and forecasted needs.
  • Develop a work structure and training plan to allow the team to meet cyclical volume swings by scaling the team size for changes in demand.
  • Implement and monitor departmental goals and objectives for the team that align with the strategic direction of the organization by analyzing needs and developing recommendations.
  • Identify patterns that indicate opportunities for improvement, and present to leadership as potential projects for continuous improvement. Utilize all available resources to ensure changes are data-driven and implemented in a way most likely to impact in a positive way.
  • Implement individual performance expectations; coach, develop and deliver performance evaluations to enable team member success in individual and team objectives.
  • Maintain system data integrity and accuracy.
  • Design and compose productivity and project status reports on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience managing recruitment support staff, including hiring, performance management and development, and people discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience managing metrics and reporting in support of productivity, quality and customer care objectives
  • 2+ years of experience working with Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • 2+ years of experience with various Applicant Tracking Systems
  • 2+ years of experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed driven organization
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruiting processes, critical path items and driving process compliance in recruitment coordination/support
  • Experience with data analysis and excel spreadsheets required.
  • Must be proficient with computer applications, software and Microsoft products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to ensure high degree of confidentiality with strong problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to problem solve and participate in continuous improvement activities.
