Job Title: Remote Records Clerk
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Remote Records Clerk to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, performing data entry, scanning, and filing tasks, all while ensuring confidentiality and efficiency in the record-keeping process. This is a remote, flexible position where you can work from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and verify data into digital systems
Scan, index, and organize both digital and physical documents
Ensure all records are filed correctly and maintained in an organized manner
Respond to internal and external requests for records in a timely and professional manner
Review records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring everything is in order
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of experience in data entry, records management, or a related field
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and typing 40 wpm
Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Records Management, or a related field
Certification in records management (such as CRM, CRR) is a plus
Experience with database management software
Familiarity with HIPAA or other regulatory requirements related to records management
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with database management software (e.g., SharePoint, FileHold)
Experience with document scanning software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of electronic record-keeping systems
