We’re looking for a passionate QA Tester to help ensure the quality of the game is top-notch before launch.

Job Summary:

As a QA Tester at Gylee Games, you’ll be responsible for testing Ra Ra Boom across various platforms and reporting any bugs, issues, or inconsistencies. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about video games who wants to gain hands-on experience in game development and quality assurance. You will collaborate closely with the QA Lead and development team to ensure the game’s mechanics, features, and visuals are polished for an exceptional player experience.

Responsibilities:

• Playtest Ra Ra Boom to identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, or gameplay issues.
• Work closely with the QA Lead to perform test plans and provide feedback on game performance and usability.
• Verify bug fixes by conducting regression testing to ensure issues do not reoccur.
• Provide clear, detailed feedback to the development team on game mechanics, user interface, and overall experience.
• Track and document testing efforts using tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Collaborate with team members in daily or weekly meetings to discuss findings and prioritize tasks.
• Test Ra Ra Boom across multiple platforms, including PC and consoles.
• Help ensure a smooth, high-quality player experience by focusing on gameplay, user interface, performance, and compatibility.

Qualifications:

• A passion for video games, particularly in action or brawler genres.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot issues in gameplay mechanics, visuals, and user interface.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear bug reports and feedback.
• Familiarity with video game systems, controllers, and general gaming terminology.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Basic understanding of bug-tracking software (such as Jira or Trello) is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
• Enthusiasm for quality assurance and desire to grow in the gaming industry.
