Overview

The Integration QA Manager will lead the quality assurance efforts for integrated systems, ensuring seamless communication between SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and non-SAP systems. You will be responsible for developing testing strategies, managing QA teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance, functionality, and performance of integrated systems leveraging middleware and APIs (e.g., SAP CPI/PI, BUS, BTP).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage QA teams to ensure high standards of quality in integrated system projects.
  • Design and implement QA strategies for SAP and non-SAP integration projects.
  • Define testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices for system integrations.
  • Oversee end-to-end testing of SAP modules and their integration with non-SAP systems, including monitoring test activities for middleware and APIs.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and end-users to define requirements and resolve issues.
  • Act as the primary QA contact for integration-related queries and communicate test results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper configuration of test environments and adherence to organizational and industry standards.
  • Identify gaps in the integration process and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on SAP and non-SAP integration technologies and trends, leading initiatives for process optimization and QA innovation.
  • Mentor, develop, motivate, and coach QA teams to work collaboratively and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and formal education in a relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of business technology experience with prior supervisory experience
  • Experience working in large complex technology projects including those with offshore teams
  • Working knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies
  • Strong team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions as well as able to work independently
  • Excellence presentation and facilitation skills to communicate complex information to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and manage an action plan including strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead a team environment with the Agile delivery values of Openness, Commitment, Respect, Courage, and Focus

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in QA, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in testing non-SAP systems and their interfaces (e.g., Salesforce, SAP Hybris).
  • Experience with middleware platforms like BUS, API, BTP, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with an ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification as a plus.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Git, SonarQube, NEXUS, or similar.
  • Understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and multi-system integrations.
  • Experience with Micro Focus UFT or similar test automation tools and test management tools like Micro Focus ALM or Microsoft TFS.
