Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is currently recruiting one Per Diem Psych PBX Receptionist, Weekends, Saturday and Sunday 7am-4pm, 2:30-8pm, and 3pm-8pm, to assist with visitation, property and front desk . This person would need to be flexible in their schedule.

Duties:

  • Is the back up and will assist the receptionist in assuring a smooth process during visitation.
  • Assist in checking in visitors, directs traffic, wands visitors, helps with property check in and contraband, will help educate visitors with the visitation process.
  • Answer phones
  • Resolve issues at front desk
  • Walk visitors to the cafeteria or gym for visitation.
  • PBX receptionist will communicate with Nurses, Mental Health Technician, and visitors in regarding visitation.
  • Helps answer phone calls and delivery of property to the units as needed.
  • Provide the best customer service to all visitors, vendors, medical staff and employees.

Requirements

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent

1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare/ or customer service.

Communication skills.

Flexible

Bilingual preferred
