Our Client, a leading construction company, is seeking a skilled  Project Manager/Detailer - Division 8/Pre-hung Doors to join their dynamic team in Beltsville, MD, this position could be REMOTE for the right individual, however local is preferred. If you have extensive experience managing and detailing projects with a strong understanding of doors and hardware, this is the perfect opportunity for you to thrive in a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in working with various door vendors, including Allegion and Assa Abloy.
  • Detail all aspects of projects, including pricing, identifying design or specification errors, and communicating with customers to ensure project success.
  • Estimate material requirements for construction projects, adhering to company policies and local building codes.
  • Assist customers by reviewing door deficiencies and developing corrective action plans to address code issues.
  • Support the operations team with estimating and pricing for commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
  • Perform comprehensive commercial door, frame, and hardware take-offs.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team and customers during the estimating and project buy-out phases.
  • Lead the team in blueprint reading, specification interpretation, and construction procedures.
  • Review material usage vs. estimates for completed projects to ensure accuracy.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist operations teams with order verification and review project document revisions as needed.
  • Act as a second set of eyes for order accuracy and schedule adherence.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Doors, Frames, and Hardware field.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet goals with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to personal and professional excellence.
