Job Description
Our client, a professional sports and entertainment company, is seeking a Project Manager – Digital Insights & Optimization. This PM will help with the various projects across all team functions from implementation of analytics toolsets, managing the analysis being produced, and our optimization activities.
- This ongoing freelance position requires to be onsite 4 days a week in Inglewood, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and prioritization of development tickets and roadmap initiatives related to analytics implementation and optimization testing across the Organization’s websites, mobile apps, and connected TV platforms.
- Lead weekly grooming sessions focused on optimization strategies for the Organization’s digital media products, including targeted messaging, feature testing, and user experience enhancements.
- Coordinate cross-functional analytics and optimization requests via JIRA and facilitate weekly readout sessions to share performance insights and test results with the broader digital media team.
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for multiple analytics and optimization vendors supporting the Organization’s web, mobile, and CTV properties.
Required Qualifications:
- Solid technical understanding of mobile applications, CTV environments, OTT platforms, web technologies, and broader digital media ecosystems.
- Clear and effective communicator who can translate complex technical topics into accessible language for cross-functional partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the emotional intelligence needed to build trust and foster collaboration.
- Confident, composed leadership style with a track record of driving accountability across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willing to adapt and step into different roles as needed, and takes initiative to flag and resolve resource gaps with leadership.
- Actively collaborates with Product, Design, and Engineering teams—helping to shape solutions, not just execute them.
- Skilled at facilitating workshops and sessions that enable cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliver results.
- Experienced in synthesizing stakeholder input, feedback, and subject-matter expertise into actionable business requirements.
- Adept at guiding teams through disagreement or misalignment to reach consensus and move forward with clarity.
- Strong decision-making support capabilities, including upward management and accountability enforcement.
- Excellent communicator who tailors messaging based on context, audience, and desired outcome.
