About the Role:
A public works contractor specializing in roofing waterproofing and sheet metal services is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer/Project Manager. Employmentbased visa sponsorship including H1B is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage laborers on job sites daily.
Collaborate closely with the project manager to ensure project success.
Interpret and understand construction plans specifications and related documents.
Define project scope and allocate necessary resources.
Prepare and manage preconstruction documents.
Assist in developing project schedules budgets and quality assurance plans.
Plan and supervise daily onsite activities.
Communicate project details effectively with foremen and serve as the main point of contact.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of construction principles techniques and procedures.
Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Viewpoint Spectrum Viewpoint Team Bluebeam OnScreen Takeoff and Quick Bid is a plus.
Prior experience in project coordination is preferred.
