Job Description

Who We Are

At Blue Stone Management, we don't just build projects, we help bring complex ideas to life across the globe. Our teams work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder construction environments where organization, collaboration, and accountability are what keep everything moving forward.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to join our San Francisco team and play a key role in supporting active construction projects from planning through closeout. This isn't a back-office role, it's a hands-on opportunity to be at the center of project delivery, partnering closely with Project Managers to keep scope, schedule, and budget aligned.

If you are detail-driven, proactive by nature, and eager to grow your career in construction project management, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

Be the backbone of project execution: Support multiple Project Managers by coordinating the administrative, financial, and scheduling functions that keep projects on track.

Own the numbers: Maintain and update project budgets and forecasts in internal systems, helping identify variances early and supporting informed decision-making.

Keep the timeline moving: Develop and maintain summary-level schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring key milestones are clearly tracked and communicated.

Tell the project story: Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders using PowerPoint and Excel.

Champion process and quality: Ensure contracts, compliance documentation, and internal processes are completed accurately, consistently, and on time.

Be the connector: Serve as a central point of coordination across project teams, balancing priorities and supporting multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

What You Bring

A self-starter mindset: You see what needs to be done and take initiative, bringing solutions to the table.

Clear communication skills: You communicate effectively with project managers, field teams, and leadership, knowing that transparency drives better outcomes.

A team-first approach: You understand that strong project delivery is built on collaboration and shared accountability.

Comfort with technology: You learn new tools quickly and aren't intimidated by new systems or processes.

The Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

You have a minimum 4 years of experience in construction project coordination or project management, with a solid understanding of the project lifecycle.

You are currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area with the ability to commute to our client project site at SFO.

Proficiency in:

  • Microsoft Project for scheduling
  • Excel for tracking and analysis
  • PowerPoint for presentations and reporting

You have demonstrated ability to support multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience working in a PMIS platform such as Procore, Prolog, e-Builder, Unifier, or similar.

Hands-on exposure to cost tracking, forecasting, and schedule management.

A Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Why You'll Love It Here

You will build your career alongside experienced Project Managers who are invested in your growth.

You will gain exposure to complex, high-impact construction projects in San Francisco.

You will be a part of a collaborative, people-first team where initiative is encouraged and contributions are recognized.
