NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Agricultural Research Service through the Experienced Worker Program (EWP). *This position will be open until filled. NOTE: This position has the option to work remotely.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year(s) of experience in Database management. OR BA/BS Degree in Computer science or related field.NoneExperience required with Windows, Apple Macintosh, MS Word, MS ExcelSciNet and other HPC, Bioinformatics including Kraken2 and Synteny analysis programs.Duties:This position supports bioinformatic analyses for our research by interfacing with HPC and developing program support with SciNet.
