POSITION SUMMARY:

The Eagle Fire Academy Program Administrator will be the lead person in charge of administering and tracking Eagle Fire's internal education program (Eagle Fire Academy). This role involves managing our learning management systems (LMS), coordinating with external vendors such as the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA), and leveraging previous experience in apprenticeship development programs to enhance our training initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • LMS Administration: Oversee the administration of Eagle Fire's LMS, ensuring smooth operation and accessibility for all employees.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Program Management: Develop, implement, and track progress of internal education programs, ensuring they meet the company's strategic goals and compliance standards.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work exclusively with external vendors, particularly AFSA, to source and integrate training materials and programs.
  • Apprenticeship Development: Utilize experience in apprenticeship programs to design, develop, and manage apprenticeship training paths within the company.
  • Employee Support: Provide support and guidance to employees regarding their learning paths, program requirements, and professional development.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of employee training, certifications, and progress within the LMS.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in program administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in LMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with e-learning tools and technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with skilled trades apprenticeship/education programs or similar industry organizations.
  • Experience in a fire protection or related industry.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a telephone, computer and other office equipment.
