Systems Intelligence is excited to uphold the Army Software Factory's mission of enabling Soldiers to become software professionals. We are looking for Product Managers to pair 1:1 alongside novice Soldiers coaching in those competencies such that the Soldiers learn by doing. The objective is for our coaches to impart progressive expertise such that Soldiers become capable of taking full ownership of their projects, and ultimately train others.
Travel:
CONUS travel in performance of the contract will be determined at the time of need.
Shift:
Core business hours of 8:45 A.M through 5:15 P.M central time, Monday through Friday, with eight working (non-lunch) hours per day
Prescribed period during which lunch may be taken: 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M.
Responsibilities
The Product Manager is responsible for the team's overall performance and execution of Agile principles and performs duties including but not limited to:
Coordination with all external stakeholders to prioritize feature development.
Oversight of problem scoping and day-to-day operations.
Setting of strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a single product or product line.
Analysis of operational conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on stakeholder management.
Oversight of the entire product lifecycle and product roadmap.
Execution of lean and agile rituals and methodology within a balanced team to set product strategy.
Management of product backlog, writing user stories, establishing and managing product roadmap.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar relevant field.
3 years of experience as Product Manager.
Capable of coaching and managing junior product managers through the development of products including resource management, product strategy (physical or digital), functional requirements, and releases.
Capable of coordinating work done by functions (like software engineers, security, compliance, data scientists, and product designers).
Familiar with lean and DevSecOps principles.
Able to coach military personnel how to confer with systems analysts, engineers, and others to design applications and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
Capable of managing client relationships, including determining client needs/requirements, managing client expectations, and demonstrating commitment to delivering quality results.
Ability to obtain interim Secret clearance prior to start date and achieve/maintain Secret clearance upon final adjudication.?
