What you’ll be doing…

With your product management, product marketing, or sales operations background, you will be responsible for developing and managing the Verizon Business Group accessory product strategy and performance. Most of your time you will work with manufacturer partners, Verizon sales leaders, and the consumer product organization to define the business-focused accessory portfolio strategy, orchestrate new accessory launches, and support sales opportunities for this category. Your work will help maintain Verizon’s leadership position by anticipating business customer needs and shaping our future offerings to meet them. 

  • Analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings to develop a comprehensive portfolio strategy for wireless accessories. Identifying opportunities for product expansion, differentiation, and optimization within the category.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturers, marketing, and sales to execute the portfolio strategy effectively.

  • Driving business unit revenue targets and developing actionable plans to achieve them. Monitoring sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing initiatives to drive growth.

  • Creating a promotion calendar aligned with business objectives, seasonal trends, and product launches. Monitoring the effectiveness of promotions and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.

  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling promotional campaigns that drive customer engagement and sales.

  • Working closely with manufacturer teams to ensure timely and successful launch of new accessories products including collaborating with marketing teams to develop effective marketing collateral to support product launches and promotions.

  • Leading business transformation initiatives to improve the customer experience when ordering accessories from our digital or rep-assisted platforms

  • Generating regular reports and presentations to communicate performance insights, trends, and opportunities to senior leadership. Utilizing data-driven insights to continuously improve strategies and achieve business objectives.

What we’re looking for… 

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience in product management, category management, product marketing or related roles.

  • Vendor management experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with project management tools and techniques.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree.

  • Experience in the wireless / telecommunications industry.

  • Experience outlining issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.

  • Passion for learning about new wireless products, devices and software technology/application trends.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ThoughtSpot, Excel Pivot Tables, or other data analytic tools

  • Prior experience in sales or sales support roles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Self-starter who can learn new technical skills and work independently to drive product strategy.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $136,500.00 - $238,000.00.
