Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated UI leaning, Product Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and intuitive product designs that align with both user needs and business objectives. Working closely with the CEO, you will have the opportunity to work on projects from conception to completion, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring your designs to life. This is a key role for a creative thinker who is passionate about designing exceptional user experiences and translating them into practical, scalable products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Design and Development: Lead the design process from concept through to implementation, developing user interfaces and experiences that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Prototype Creation: Design interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts, user flows, and potential product features.
  • Design System Development: Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design objectives with overall product goals and to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our products remain competitive and user-friendly.
  • Technical Implementation Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the technical feasibility of designs, providing support during the development and implementation phases.
  • Documentation: Create detailed design documentation, including design specifications, wireframes, mockups, and user journey maps to guide development teams.
  • Design Review: Conduct regular design reviews to gather feedback, refine designs, and ensure they meet quality standards before launch.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product design, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) design.
  • Design Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in Figma and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and experience with prototyping tools like Sketch or InVision.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like React.js or Angular, to understand implementation constraints.
  • Design System Expertise: Experience in building and maintaining design systems, reusable components, and scalable design frameworks.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions that enhance the user experience.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly and justify design decisions.
  • User-Centric Approach: A strong advocate for user-centered design principles, with the ability to translate user needs into thoughtful design solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring that designs are pixel-perfect and aligned with the brand's visual identity.
