Faithful Transport is a transportation company that focuses on serving school age students with special needs in the York, PA area. We are looking for an individual who is detail oriented with excellent customer service skills to be a key part of office staff!

Our PM Dispatcher position will be responsible for ensuring that all of our students get to their destinations safely / on time and that our drivers are clearly communicated to. This is a part-time (27.5 - 30 hours per week, approximately 12:00PM-5:30PM, Monday through Friday) position with additional hours required as needed. No experience needed! Below is more information:

You will receive requests, transmit messages and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator. While being able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action.

Responsibilities:

• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
• Assist with the weekly schedule for all drivers and aides to ensure all runs and back-up shifts are staffed
• Monitor the route and status of vans and communicate to schools and families
• Provide drivers with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
• Provide driver orientation to incoming drivers
• Required to drive when necessary

Skills Required / Requirements:

• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities

• Active listener with excellent communication skills

• Sound judgement and critical thinking

• PA Driver's License
