Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence and driving strategic improvements within the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all plant operations to ensure optimum production efficiency and quality standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals and improve processes.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturing processes and product development.
• Create effective schedules and plans to maximize productivity while minimizing costs.
• Define and implement maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Proven experience in plant management or similar leadership roles in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 30 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
