What you do:

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides, under the direction of the Physical Therapist, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. Demonstrates accountability for and contributes to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment.

• Provides appropriate therapeutic interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to Physical Therapist.
• Documents the course of patient care including progress made and continuing need for treatment.
• Collaborates with the Physical Therapist to develop method of delivering education to patients and their family.
• Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, communicates with patients, caregivers and their families regarding progress.
• Contributes to the delivery of cost-effective care.
• Travel, as needed, to other campus locations and/or to home health assignments in the designated territory and more.

What you need:

• Associates Degree in a rehab discipline, PTA required.
• Must hold applicable valid and unencumbered state license.
• Must maintain current CPR certification
