Job Description

Monday through Friday 11:00 am-7:30 pm (plus one Saturday every 6-8 weeks). Under general supervision, assist the pharmacist in filling/compounding IV medication orders.

Responsibilities: 

• Use aseptic technique to compound IV medication orders.
• Accurately select and fill medications according to physician orders.
• Prepare and maintain emergency medication kits for use in our nursing facilities.
• Maintain pharmacy records including IV certifications for staff
• Assist with stocking and maintenance of automated dispensing equipment.

Qualifications:

• One year of pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Experience in aseptic technique preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Exemplary verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Current pharmacy technician license in good standing with the State of Arkansas.
