Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young adults? We are seeking a dedicated  Per Diem RN  to provide  home-based care  to pediatric and young adult patients experiencing pain and medical challenges.

Location:  Queens, NY

Type:  Per Diem, 1099 Independent Contractor Specialty:  Providing compassionate nursing care to children and young adults in a home setting, focusing on pain management, symptom relief, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive in-home assessments and develop personalized care plans
• Provide pain management interventions and monitor patient symptoms
• Educate families and caregivers on medication administration, symptom monitoring, and care techniques
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory and professional standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years working with medically fragile population.
• At least one year experience with pediatrics.
• Experience in pain management and working with medically fragile children and young adults is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Ability to work independently and travel to patient homes as needed.

Rate

• $170 per hour
