Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Dermatology)
Job Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 Contract.
Pay rate: $130/hr.
Schedule: 4/2 (10:00am- 2:30pm).

Full Description:

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a   Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant  with dermatology experience to provide skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations onsite at a private business with multiple locations in  Chicago, IL . Our office arranges the patient appointments, provides all the equipment and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care in an office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skin checks, skin cancer screenings and small procedures (as needed).
• Consult with patients to understand their dermatological health concerns.
• Advise/ refer patients for follow-up care.
  
• Provide telemedicine services for follow-ups (as needed).

Requirements:

• Clean active Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license to practice in the state of IL.
  
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
• Minimum 3-5 years of direct dermatology experience following post graduate training.
  
• Advanced practice certification in dermatology.
• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
• Personal laptop or tablet required.
• Must be able to reliably commute to Chicago, IL.
