Position: Pediatrician (Code: PD303)

Description:

Pediatrics of Sugar Land is seeking a committed Pediatrician to join our skilled team of healthcare professionals. We are dedicated to delivering exemplary healthcare services to pediatric patients while fostering a supportive community for families. Our ideal candidate will bring compassion expertise and diligence to provide exceptional care for children from birth to adolescence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed medical evaluations including developmental assessments physical examinations and medical history reviews.
  • Diagnose and manage pediatric illnesses including acute chronic and preventive care.
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans including prescribing medications and therapies as needed.
  • Collaborate with specialists and allied health professionals for comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide patient education and counsel families about preventative health nutrition and behavior modification.
  • Monitor patient progress and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and education programs to promote pediatric health and wellness.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a specialization in Pediatrics.
  • Active Physician license in the state of Texas.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Clinical experience in pediatric medicine is preferred but not mandatory for entrylevel positions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with children and families effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning in the evolving field of pediatrics.

Skills Required:

  • Experience: At least 1year experience is preferred in pediatric practice or clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems for patient management.
  • Exceptional diagnostic and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a highvolume clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated empathy patience and commitment to child wellness.
