Our client in the retail industry is looking for a Payroll Supervisor. Located in Duluth, GA.
Responsibilitie s:

• Process the complete payroll cycle for multiple state payroll as well as manage all aspects of year end process (W-2's; 1099's; federal, state and local tax filings, etc.) and payroll tax reporting.
• Effectively manage 1 Payroll Processor within the corporate payroll department.
• Maintain awareness of current practices in payroll processing, and inform the company about changes in all current payroll and tax regulations and laws and policies.
• Identify, research, and implement improvements and changes to Workday and payroll processes
• Oversee a variety of complex accounting functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification and reconciliation of payroll/benefit records and payment of funds

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years payroll processing experience within an organization of 2,000+ employees and multi-state locations.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience over a department consisting of 1-5 direct reports.
