Our client in the retail industry is looking for a Payroll Supervisor. Located in Duluth, GA.
Responsibilitie s:

Process the complete payroll cycle for multiple state payroll as well as manage all aspects of year end process (W-2's; 1099's; federal, state and local tax filings, etc.) and payroll tax reporting.
Effectively manage 1 Payroll Processor within the corporate payroll department.
Maintain awareness of current practices in payroll processing, and inform the company about changes in all current payroll and tax regulations and laws and policies.
Identify, research, and implement improvements and changes to Workday and payroll processes
Oversee a variety of complex accounting functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification and reconciliation of payroll/benefit records and payment of funds

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years payroll processing experience within an organization of 2,000+ employees and multi-state locations.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience over a department consisting of 1-5 direct reports.
