Summary

Are you passionate about early childhood education? If you love working with young children, join our team at Lawrence Day School as a part-time Toddler Teacher! You will play a key role in fostering a warm, safe and developmentally appropriate environment where children can explore and develop essential skills.

Work Hours: Tuesdays & Fridays 8:30am - 5:30pm
(Additional hours may be available but are dependent on the center's needs)

Duties

• Uphold a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children (18 months to 2.5 years old).
• Supervise and engage with children in a caring and positive manner.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, and rest time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding child progress and needs.
• Follow school policies and state licensing requirements to ensure the well-being of all children.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with toddlers in a child care or preschool setting.
• Must be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification

Nice To Haves

• CDA or college level credits in Early Childhood Education
