Job Description

**Position Overview** We are seeking a **Commercial Property Maintenance Technician** with a strong focus on **painting projects** for our commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in detailed, professional work and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks. When painting projects are not scheduled, you will assist with general facilities maintenance to ensure our properties remain in top condition. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform interior and exterior painting for commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes. + Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed. + Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working order. + Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks, which may include: + Minor plumbing and electrical repairs + Light carpentry + General upkeep and preventative maintenance + Respond promptly to work orders and communicate effectively with property managers. + Adhere to safety standards and company protocols at all times. **Qualifications** + Proven experience in professional painting (commercial or residential). + Basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry). + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. **Preferred Skills** + Experience working in commercial property settings. + Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. + Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve minor facility issues. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, ME. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
