Job Description

Minimum Education and Experience:

· PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field such as Gerontology; Sociology, Psychology, or related social science; Social Work; Public Health; or a clinical degree (MD, PharmD, DNP ) with board certification in Family Medicine, Geriatrics and/or Palliative Care, other medical and surgical specialty, nursing, or pharmacy with advanced research training.

· A strong record of successful peer-reviewed publications, appropriate to academic rank.

· Record of successful peer-reviewed grant proposals to the NIH or other peer-reviewed grant sponsors, appropriate to academic rank.

· A high level of achievement in the application of advanced analytic techniques relevant to their field of study.

· Record of successful multi-disciplinary collaboration and mentorship of students, fellows, and early-stage investigators.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to translate research findings and concepts to both academic and non-academic audiences.

· Ability to successfully engage and communicate with study subjects, community and public policy leaders, or other stakeholders.

· Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and mentorship.
