Brainfuse is a leading provider of online tutoring and educational support, partnering with schools and districts nationwide to help K–12 students succeed. Our High-Dosage Tutoring program ensures students receive consistent instruction from the same dedicated tutor throughout the semester, driving meaningful academic growth in core subjects.

Position Overview:

We're seeking experienced online educators to teach Math and ELA to K–8 students in a structured, semester-long program. This position offers a fixed daily 4-hour schedule , Monday through Friday, with optional flexibility to adjust to 3-hour shifts based on availability.

Tutors must be available for the same time block each day for the entire semester.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, individualized, or small-group online instruction in Math and ELA to K–8 students.
• Deliver lessons using Brainfuse's online whiteboard, equipped with text, audio, and video tools.
• Follow preassigned lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with district goals.
  
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Serve as a primary tutor, substitute, or provide on-demand support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, English, or a closely related field.
  
• Active teaching license in applicable subjects and grade levels highly preferred .
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Reliable computer with high-speed internet, webcam, and microphone for live instruction on our virtual whiteboard.
• Current hiring priority is for Math instruction ; candidates qualified to teach Math only are encouraged to apply. ELA coverage is a plus but not required.

Schedule:

• Fixed daily schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm ET.
• Tutors must commit to the same block for the entire semester.
• This is a semester-based position that concludes at the end of the assigned term. Tutors in good standing may be eligible for future semester opportunities , depending on district demand and performance.

Compensation:

• $23 per hour during each assigned shift that is completed.
• Paid online training is mandatory before tutoring begins.
