Job Description

A critical access hospital near Milledgeville, GA is seeking a Nurse Manager Perioperative Services. In this full-time, day-shift role, you will oversee all Surgical Services areas and employees, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of care. As a working manager, you will assist with surgical cases as needed while managing the department’s administrative requirements.

To be successful in this role, the Nurse Manager Perioperative Services will need at least 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in surgical areas, with managerial experience preferred but not required. A current Georgia State Board of Nursing license is essential, and while a BSN is preferred, it is not mandatory. BCLS and ACLS certifications will make you stand out. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with patients, staff, physicians, and the public. You should be pleasant, tactful, cooperative, responsible, compassionate, and courteous.

Physical demands of the Nurse Manager Perioperative Services include standing, walking, lifting, and pushing patients or equipment, along with the ability to handle various instruments and dressings.
